Calder turned a corner over the last couple days and has gone from steps here and there to walking at least 50% of the time. It's been a fast transition and one in which he seems utterly thrilled. Not only can he walk - there are so many new drawers he can reach and empty!
Although he's getting good on his own, he's still a fan of walking on the sidewalk with his walker toy.
Besides walking his communications skills are also greatly improving. Not only can he say no or shake his head, he has now learned to do them at the same time for an even more dramatic and forceful effect. As his communications skills sharpen, so too do his opinions! Can you blame him!

"Walking"
After a morning full of successful attempts at standing up without holding on to anything, we bought Calder a push-toy today to practice walking.
He picked it up pretty quickly - and had an awful lot of fun.
Bart's betting that Calder will be walking on his own by Tuesday. I'm not so sure. But I've been proven wrong before!

first days crawling
Calder officially crawled for the first time on Sunday, May 30. It's been nonstop since then! Each day he gets stronger and stronger and is now working on pulling himself to a standing position. What happened to that little baby boy we brought home from the hospital!
